Message Okay, so I was leaving the bar, actually early tonight trying to be a responsible guy, and headed for my car. This was at around midnight. For those of you that know STL (what a shit hole, I hope you don't) I was in the CWE.

So anyway, I am walking to my car, and on the corner there is this dude, just standing there, talking the phone. I thought it was a little strange that he was just standing there, but I walked past him. At this time, I looked up at my car (99 Chrysler 300m, didn't want to bring my Z out to STL for obvious reasons) and the light is on. Now, I know I didn't leave the light on, but I continued toward the car, as I get to the door, I see this dude fiddling with my ignition.

At this point it somewhat registered to me what was going on, So, I just yelled real loud "HEY, HEY, What the FU*K are you doing?? Comeon man, that's my car, don't steal my fuc***g car!" He looked up, real spooked like, and bolted.

So I stood there in the middle of the street a little dumbfounded for a second, wondering what kind of a douche bag actually tries to steal somebody else's car. I then got in the car, and tried to start it.... no luck, it wouldn't even turn over, the stupid asshole used a screwdriver and popped off, no wait, pried off my door handle (door totally bent around the handle) then massacred the ignition lock. neat! Whatever he did, he really screwed it up big time. I wasn't even going to call the cops because what were they going to do, I mean really, I didn't get a good look at the guy, "Um yes officer, he was black... and he had on a white t-shirt". That could be anybody, but I decided to call them anyway only after my wouldn't start because I figured the would know what to do at this point.

It was while I was waiting for the cop car, that I realized the other dude standing on the corner was his lookout man. I had my back turned to him the whole time while I was yelling at the dude to not steal my car. That guy behind could have shot me, hit me, done whatever, I wasn't paying attention to him. Thank God he didn't do anything, and in fact, he didn't even run, he knew I didn't think he was connected at first, he just walked down the street in the same direction as the guy ran. I almost wish I would have made the connection earlier, and stopped the lookout guy, but that probably wouldn't have been a good idea either, who knows if had a weapon or not.

So, anyway, it's now 3:00am, I just got home, I am tired, a little upset, and really really really not digging STL anymore (not that it was ever on my list of favorite cities), and not even just last month some other douche bag decided my car didn't look good as it was, and put a nice big 2 foot key mark in my paint, gee, thanks buddy! At least I had the forethought to not get that fixed a while ago, because I had a feeling that something else would happen to my car, so I guess now I will just fix them both. What's really funny, I lived (still do kinda) in SF, and never once have I ever had a problem with my car there, and I parked it on the street everyday for the last 4 years.

So, you may be asking yourself, a)why did I read all that, and b) how is this SZR, well, I'll tell you:

I had saved up some cash from the last few months to buy jspec taillights, and the brembo brake upgrade kit. Now, of course, a lot of that money will go to renting a car, and paying the $500 deductible, which should just about take care of what I was going to get for the Z =(

And to top all that off, my car freaking wreaks of jerry curl juice or soemthing... I am praying the smell goes away, because I don't want to be reminded of this guy for long. I hear feebreeze works wonders.

*Rant off*
